Your images stay on your device

Every ImageKit tool runs entirely in your web browser using the Canvas API. Nothing is uploaded, stored or tracked — close the tab and your files are gone from here, because they were never here at all. Safe for personal photos, client work and confidential documents.

No tools match that search. Try “compress”, “convert” or “crop”.

About ImageKit

ImageKit is a small photo lab that lives in your browser. It was built for the everyday jobs that usually mean uploading your pictures to a stranger's server: making a JPG small enough to email, turning a PNG into a JPG, cropping a profile photo, stamping a watermark, or generating the five favicon sizes every website quietly needs.

Because every tool uses your own device's processing power, ImageKit is fast (no upload queues), free (no server bills to pass on), and private by design — there is simply no server for your images to leak from. It is made for creators, students, small businesses and anyone who just needs the job done.

Good to know

Are my images really never uploaded?

Really. All processing happens with the Canvas API in your browser tab. You can prove it: open ImageKit, disconnect from the internet, and every tool still works.

Why does compressing a PNG sometimes make it bigger?

PNG is already lossless-compressed. For photos, switching the output format to JPEG or WebP in the compressor gives far smaller files. PNG output is best for graphics, logos and screenshots.

Is there a file size limit?

Only your device's memory. Most phones and laptops handle images up to 50 MP comfortably. Extremely large files may take a few seconds on older hardware.

Do the tools add watermarks or shrink my images?

No. Your output keeps the full original dimensions (unless you crop it yourself) and carries no ImageKit branding, ever.
